#AtoZChallenge: Red Picket Fences

This post is part of a month-long blogging challenge. The challenge is to start the month with the letter A and end the month on the letter Z.  I’ve chosen the same theme that I used last year, Books from my TBR. I have over 15K books in my TBR. Let’s explore some of those.

I am using my Amazon affiliate links for these books.

Red Picket Fences
A Jennifer Temple Cozy Mystery
by Daphne McLean

Genre: Cozy Mystery
Publication Date: February 3, 2019

How well do you know your neighbors?
Jennifer Temple is growing restless. Life as a stay-at-home mom in a sleepy, small-town neighborhood sure isn’t as exciting as she’d like it to be.
Thankfully, the true-crime aficionado has all the shows, movies and books she needs to add drama and intrigue to her existence. Because goodness knows nothing ever changes in Pembury Acres.
That is, until a house fire claims the lives of the new neighbors, leaving a shocked and grief-stricken community in its wake. The police move to close the case quickly.
Too quickly.
Using her sharp wits, her true-crime know-how and her natural stubbornness, Jennifer stumbles onto clues that put her smack in the middle of the investigation – and right in the sights of the killer.
Can Jennifer find the truth before the killer strikes again? Or will she be the next victim?

Hi! I'm Daphne McLean, and I'm a cozy mystery writer living in central NJ. My debut novella, Red Picket Fences was published in February 2019.

Here's a little more about me:
Likes: Coffee, wine, crochet, French fries, snarky coffee mugs, reading, writing, gardening, chocolate, my chickens, my dogs, my husband, and of course, my children. Depending on the day, the order of those things changes.

Dislikes: Scratchy sweaters, white chocolate, getting up early, hot avocado, bugs, and not having enough time to read.

I'm fascinated by true crime but love the light-hearted nature of the cozy mystery genre. I love the ocean, and plan to create a series by the beach in the near future!
