My Review:

Red White and Blueberry Murder is the seventh book in the Donut Hole Mystery series by Susan Gillard

While I do own a few of the other books in the series, this was the first that I chose to read - because it fit well in a few of the categories of various reading challenges I am doing.

I was surprised at how quick it was to read this book. The storyline held my attention from start to finish. The synopsis of the story is this: Heather Janke owns a Donut Shop. One of her oldest and most faithful customers has been attacked. Heather and her dog, Dave, set about trying to determine who would want to hurt her friend. Her detective fiance is not pleased with her wanting to get involved in the case.

While this is the seventh book in the series, it can be read as a standalone. And now that I've read this one, I plan to go back and read the series from the start.

Some of the characters where rather quirky, but I think this makes the book a rather delightful read.
