These seniors have tricks tucked up their sleeves and aren’t afraid of using them.
The action gets dicey when the missing senior case turns into attempted murder by a criminal mind who’s always one step ahead. Corrie’s hot on the trail, but finds more than she bargained for…when her mother becomes a target.

Lida Sideris’ first stint after law school was a newbie lawyer’s dream: working as an entertainment attorney for a movie studio…kind of like her heroine, Corrie Locke, except without the homicides. Lida was one of two national winners of the Helen McCloy Mystery Writers of America Scholarship Award and a Silver Falchion Award Finalist. When did you first consider yourself to be a writer? When I was in sixth grade, I wrote a poem about horses and sent it to McCall’s magazine for a contest. I received an honorable mention (probably one of many, many such mentions). Oh, the wonderful feeling it gave me! I felt like a real writer. Decades passed (many decades) before I became a published author. Holding that first book, I knew I was a writer. Never, ever, ever give up. You never know what door may open around the next corner. Everything gets a little easier after reaching The End of the first draft. I enjoying editing the draft because that’s when all the clutter gets thrown out and new ideas may be worked in to liven things up. Editing is fun. It’s like combing out the knots in your hair, until all is smooth and shiny. Every part that makes me smile or laugh is my favorite because I always hope it’ll do the same for my readers. I really like the opening scene of my latest because that’s what sets the stage, and gets the ball rolling for the direction my heroine life will be taking. That’s tough because I enjoy them all. But I really enjoyed heroine Corrie’s mom, Victoria. She’s never played such a big role in the series. She’s a loving, caring, doting mother, who’s quick to jump in and help. But she’s also unpredictable and reveals a surprising amount of unexpected skills (unexpected by Corrie) that come in handy. Which Character was the hardest to write about? Why? The bad guys or girl. I like to write light-hearted stories featuring good people eager to help. Then these not so good characters show up, bent on deception and greed, and make other characters miserable. I don’t like writing their parts, but I do enjoy when they’re, hopefully, knocked off their feet and handed over to law enforcement. Q&A With the Author
