G= Geography

H= History

G- M: stands for Manitoba. Winnipeg is its capital and it is surrounded by flat prairie farmland. North of Winnipeg is Churchill Manitoba, the largest area for polar bears, and to the south of Winnipeg you can find the quaint tourist town of Steinbach where Mennonite settlers set up their homesteads. Manitoba has hot, dry summers and bitter cold, snowy winters.

H- M: is for multiculturalism, which represents so many new faces of people that chose Canada as their home years before and are choosing it now after leaving their countries

About the Author:

Ms. Woodsit, a retired teacher, has been writing for fun for years and is now publishing children's books. During her time as a teacher she felt students needed more basic facts about their country, such as learning we had a queen, that the capital of our provinces and territories weren't known and what some of our natural resources and wonders were. She has also helped with composing lyrics to a number of songs with her songwriting and performing friends. She loves travelling, swimming and taking care of her animals.
