Street Team FAQ’s

What is a Street Team?
A Street Team is a group of people that help promote. Literary Gold Street Team members help promote books and provide reviews where needed.

Do I need to be a blogger to be on the Street Team?
No.  If you don’t have a blog, or if you don’t wish to publish on your blog, you can help by posting on your social media - such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Instagram.

Where do I post my reviews?
We ask that the Literary Gold Street Team post their reviews in at least 2 places. While it is ideal that Amazon be the first place to post your review, we understand that not everyone has the ability to post reviews there. Other places to post your reviews are GoodReads, BookBub, your blog, and social media.  Books will be provided to you for your review. Please avoid using the phrase “I received this book in exchange for” in your review. This is one of the reasons Amazon is removing reviews. Instead please use the phrase “I received this book free of charge”.

Do I have to participate in EVERY promotion or Review?
No. Only join in those that you feel comfortable doing. We want reviews to be honest and we certainly don’t wish you to post something that you disagree with. We also are aware that schedules sometimes interfere with one’s abilities to participate each and every time.

What if I request a book to review, and it turns out to be something that just isn't for you?
If this happens, please contact me via email prior to posting a review. Please put "Literary Gold Street Team Review Issue" in the subject line.

Hey, I’m an author - can I get in on the action?
