Q&A With the Author: JB Michaels

What did you enjoy most about writing this book?

I thoroughly enjoyed plotting this one out and doing the research. I did study Hitchcock’s North by Northwest starring Cary Grant for this one and there are some parallels to it. I also loved writing the newest character to the series, Constable Greene. Her tenacity and drive makes it fun.

Do you have any other books you are working on that you can tell us about?

I have another Mac and Millie in the works! Working on a good villain for that one. Want to really push the envelope with the bad guy in the next one.

I have one more book to write in my Chronicles of the Order series! I want to see it through and give it a good push. It’s such a great series but not as widely read as the Mac and Millie series! It is a great supernatural thriller romp about ancient orders, monsters, and pure mayhem!

I also have one more book I have to write in my Tannenbaum Tailors series. These books are all plotted out! I just have to execute them! hahaha

Can you tell us about what you have planned for the future?

I want to keep growing my audience. I want to hit at least 20 books in the Mac and Millie series!

Also, I want to expand my imaginative ambition into other forms of entertainment. I will get there!

How long have you been writing?

I have been writing since I was in the fourth grade! It has always been a passion of mine! I was first published in 2015 so it’s been 8 years of learning, growing, improving, and hopefully delighting my readers all over the world!

Anything more you would like to say to your readers and fans?

I write this in every book I sign!
